About the Event
Registration is a requirement, although it is a FREE event.
Lanterns can be purchased for £5 in Amesbury History Centre in the weeks leading up to the event.
Meet in Central Car Park, Amesbury to set off bearing your lanterns to walk to Amesbury Abbey Spring, where we will find the Solstice Lantern and take part in a short celebration of the end of the dark nights.
The walk is approximately 1 mile and involves uneven slippery ground - participants do so at their own risk and should dress appropriately.
Please register and buy lanterns at Amesbury History Centre or at Amesbury Filling Station.
