About the Event
The talk looks at the presence of witches in our entertainment culture, especially how they adapted and reinvented themselves to match the changes in society from one decade to the next.
Julia Phillips is Hon Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Her main research interests are the history of witchcraft and the emergence and development of modern Pagan Witchcraft in the 20th century.
The talk is fine for children, probably more suited to older (11 years upwards) but nothing in the talk would be a problem for younger children.
