Remimiscences of Porton Railway Station, Terry Grace

This book started out as a short article of life in Porton in the 1950s and 1960s, with special reference to the Railway Cottages and Porton Camp light Railway. I very quickly discovered that had more material than required and therefore decided to write this book. Although my memories of that time are still very fresh, I did have to do some research in order to check certain facts and have therefore, for the sake of completeness, added some history of the Station and the Light Railway which I hope will give a picture of what childhood and life in general was like in the village back then.
